Midtown Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takahiro Nakamura) announced that a special class was conducted on May 15, 2026, for the "Space Industry Development Seminar: Sora no Tane" held at the Kojirakawa Campus of Yamagata University (Co-Education & Co-Creation Center).
This class was organized to share academic and practical insights into the frontiers of the space economy with the next generation. Based on his proven track record of managing overall business operations and driving organizational growth alongside the company's expansion as a founding shareholder and former Board Member & COO of ispace, Inc., Nakamura taught the session under the theme: "The Reality and Future Outlook of Space Startups: Scaling Up from 2 to 200 Employees," sharing his firsthand insights.
The class analyzed the structural challenges encountered as a startup transitions into an expanded enterprise.
